Small Bodies, Big Hearts
At Chanel Chere Neurotherapy, I strive to make the LENS experience as safe and soothing as possible for the little ones who come through my door.
I have curated an experience that promotes a calm nervous system through play, sensory, and choice before, throughout, and following their treatment.

Information on LENS and littles:
Brainwave Regulation: LENS Neurofeedback helps regulate abnormal brainwave patterns that can contribute to various behavioural and emotional issues in children. By detraining these patterns, LENS can help reduce symptoms of conditions like ADHD, anxiety and trauma. LENS Neurofeedback is safe for littles as young as six months.
Reduced Anxiety and Stress: LENS Neurofeedback can help children manage anxiety and stress more effectively, providing them with tools to face life’s challenges.
Improved Focus and Attention: For children with ADHD or attention difficulties, LENS therapy can enhance their ability to concentrate and stay on task.
Better Emotional Regulation: LENS can support children in regulating their emotions, reducing mood swings and outbursts.
Enhanced Cognitive Abilities: Many children experience improvements in memory, problem-solving, and overall cognitive function.

How I can help calm your littles brain and body before their LENS session:
Bouncing on the trampoline and or balancing on a balance board (The rhythmic bouncing motion stimulates the release of tension in the body, allowing individuals to physically and mentally unwind)
Building with magnetic tiles and sensory rocks
Practicing their best drumming skills (Engaging in rhythmic drumming can activate the body's relaxation response, leading to a sense of calm and well-being)
Relaxing with a book in the rocking chair
Colouring their favourite Disney Character
Picking out their favourite fidget toy (Fidget toys can help with stress by providing a tactile outlet for nervous energy, promoting sensory focus, and serving as a distraction from anxiety-provoking thoughts, ultimately leading to relaxation and improved focus)
Having a cold drink of water or juice box
